adequate stay with room for improvement
The hotel offers ample free parking, convenient for travelers. Our room had a safe. The classic decor in the room provided a quaint charm that we appreciated.
I don't really have many positives for this hotel.

The hotel has many free parking spaces. The room was large, clean, modernly furnished and in good condition. Very nice restaurant, where breakfast is also served. The distance to the airport is short, yet the aircraft noise is not disturbing. I would definitely book there again.

The Stanneylands is an ideal hotel close to the airport, especially for business travellers or as a last overnight stay before departure. The price with breakfast is more than okay compared to other offers in the area. The hotel is very clean and well maintained.
The location of the room on the ground floor didn't appeal so much to us.

Great choice for weekend. Gorgeous property, has excellent friendly and decent staff especially the receptionists. Well-appointed unit in the bedrooms at least. Stunning, excellent location in the pretty nice area. Good restaurant inside the hotel. Free parking on-site provided. A bar in the reception.

The hotel has impeccable standards of cleanliness, and the food was excellent. All the staff we spoke to during our staff were very professional. The rooms were large and very comfortable, only one slight drawback - there wasn't any air conditioning.

Excellent value for money; nice room overlooking green fields; very good breakfast; good, attentive staff all made for a very pleasant, and reasonably priced stay.

I loved the modern country house feel, especially The Parlour's cushion-piled window seat and wing-back armchairs with a cozy spot to relax and enjoy a glass of wine amidst the serene surroundings.
Improve dining accessibility for seniors.

The staff. all very helpful and friendly. we did have a big issue with our bed the first night - it was ready to be replaced and very uncomfortable. However Eamonn the manager very quickly changed our rooms with the minimum of fuss. we had a really delightful stay with excellent staff. we ended up staying 3 nights

The location being 10 mins from the Airport and 20 mins from Manchester City centre is excellent
I found tat my room which was situated in the newer block was very noisy. The wall insulation was so poor that hearing people urinating in the toilet next door was a definite minus for an Hotel that charges almost £100 per night. In adition the TV was constantly malfunctioning, this was also experienced by other guests as I overheard their complaints at reception The Restaurant was very tidy but tefood prices were astronomical. Breakfast was not included in the room rate and to pay over £10 per person for a help yourself Continental breakfast of cereal and croisants with juices was quite outrageous!
